Saturday Auction - Ended up at an auction this saturday 11-6-2012 after a good day of picking on friday. I had a few good finds at the auction including some GI joe accessories, some vintage transformers, a few Voltron pieces, a 1980's he man figure, and a bread machine for $2.00 LOL wife got that one! Stay tuned for some picks.
Pickin' with the Cokeman! - Went picking with Cokeman (a good buddy that is also a picker) in Granite City this last friday! Man what a fun time this was. We found and was able to see a lot of history in this pick! Some things of interest from this pick were an original Bernz-o-matic slim line camp stove still in its original box sealed, shipped on may 17 1976. This camp stove was a SOAR Boy Scout special. Also to note Cokeman picked up 2 original Falstaff Coolers, one red one with original box and tray inside, and also a gold plastic one that was never used! still had the original paper pamphlet in it WOW! Other things to just quickly note were a western stoneware 4 gallon crock, some vintage bakelite christmas lights, a 2 man saw(that looked like it was hardly ever used), vintage ham/turkey carving set, Vintage German War Winston churchill poster, a set of falstaff salt and pepper shakers, some old gumball jars, and a coke bottle box. Monday Nights Auction - Not too much purchase last night at the Monday night auction, I did buy 2 Atari 2600's with controllers, power supplies, paddles , games with all there manuals. Mattels Major Matt Mason - Listed 2 Items up on ebay today under my new account. A Major Matt Mason produced by Mattel around 1966 which included 2 helmets and a tank pack, He was part of my Monday night pick from the last Monday night auction I went to. Also listed was a Major Matt Mason Satellite locker with original matt mason cardboard insert, and a plastic usa rocket that was in the locker with matt mason. G.I.Joe - Didn't do any auctioning this weekend had birthday parties and church functions, but I did today go through some of the G.I.Joe collection I purchased last week. I found a few rare Items, I will post some of them when I get ready to list them and Get some photos up.
Monday Nights Auction - After doing some research and talking to different people about the G.I.Joe stuff I got at the auction there is some pretty neat stuff included. For one there was a James Bond 007 Action Figure that was designed by A.C. Gilbert and produced under the Ideal Toy Corp. indcluded, Also I was informed that the weird alien looking dude was DR. Evil from the Captain Action Series in the 1950's, also there was captain action clothes, and also the full wardrobe for James Bond. I ended up having all the clothes and accessories that came with the original black/African American G.I.Joe Adventurer "how cool is that"! Auction - Went to the monday night auction that I frequent today and purchased some great things for re-sell. I got 13 vintage redline HoT Wheels, 3-4 vintage GI Joe Action Figures, Vintage GI Joe Clothing, some GI Joe action sets, and also some vintage KISS/Beatles/REO Speedwagon records. City Wide Yard Sale - Didn't get to much at the city wide yard sale this last saturday, I did get a food vacuum sealer, a working water softner for $5, Did see some antiques but they wanted way too much money for them.
